Screen Australia’s IndiVision

Screen Australia’s IndiVision is designed to energise low-budget filmmaking in Australia and provide strategic professional development for talented filmmakers.The IndiVision Production Fund can provide production investment of up to AU$1.25 million for a low-budget feature with a total budget of AU$2.5 million or less. The purpose of the funding is to develop the careers of talented Australian filmmakers. The IndiVision Project Lab is a high-level hot house for professional Australian filmmakers developing low-budget feature films. The Lab provides strategic career development to Australian filmmakers. Each year top international filmmakers are invited as advisors to the lab. 2008 advisors included Christine Vachon, Laurence Coriat, and Vinca Wiedemann.

Film Victoria’s Digital Media Fund (DMF) Film Victoria’s Digital Media Fund plays a central role in the development of digital media projects in Victoria. The Digital Media Fund stimulates the talent pool of local practitioners, supporting skill enhancement and software specialisation through an internship program, and presenting industry information via seminars and forums.

Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC) EFIC, Australia’s export credit agency, assists Australian exporters to compete internationally by providing insurance and finance facilities to the overseas buyers of Australian capital goods and services, or to their financiers. EFIC’s medium to long-term services include export credit insurance to cover the risk of non-payment, export finance and political risk insurance, bond issuance and guarantees. Short-term services include export credit insurance and unfair bond calling insurance.

Australian Research Council

Australian Research Council (ARC) Advises government on research funding and policy and, through its management of the National Competitive Grants Program, promotes the conduct of research and research training.
